What is bacteriostatic water?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol. The benzyl alcohol inhibits the growth of bacteria, allowing the vial to be used multiple times after it has been punctured. It is used in laboratory settings to reconstitute freeze-dried peptides.
What is bacteriostatic water used for?
