The pen doses in clicks. Each turn of the dial is 1 click, and every click is 0.01 ml. One injection goes up to 60 clicks: 0.6 ml, which is 20% of the 3 ml pen.

Divide the pen strength by 5 to find the most one injection can give. The clicks stay the same, the milligrams don't: 60 clicks is 1 mg in a 5 mg pen, but 12 mg in a 60 mg pen. Always check the strength on your pen.
